Commune Cafe starts hiatus, closes Salcedo outlet

They're moving in a bit.

 

(SPOT.ph) The cute cafe at Salcedo Village, Makati City, shut down its doors after midnight yesterday, June 30. Commune will be prepping for a bigger space on Durban Street, in Poblacion, a walking distance away. An opening date has not been set.

 

Commune opened in 2013, a bright cheery space with handcrafted coffee that has invaded the Instagram grid of caffeine junkies everywhere. A true commune, it put together every coffee lover's requirements: long tables for groups, as well as little decks for quieter needs. The cafe was especially prolific with their latte art, creating adorable 3D foam figures of animals. 

 

 

If you're sad about the move, don't be. It's going to be very near Felipe Street, home to El Chupacabra and Tambai
