KFC uses chicken as pizza crust, creates breadless pizza

KFC, what did bread ever do to you?

 

(SPOT.ph) After the Double Down and the Double Down Dog, we have come to a point where we have to ask: is KFC out to replace all types of bread with their fried chicken? 

 

The latest in their list of hokey inventions is the Chizza, the lovechild of a chicken and a pizza. It's a chicken fillet topped with the works—pizza sauce, green bell peppers, pineapple tidbits, pepperoni, and, of course, cheese. It's all just chicken and toppings, a rather uprated version of Chicken Parm. The good news? Er, no carbs?

 

The Chizza, priced at P125, will be available in selected Metro Manila stores (SM Fairview, Quezon City; SM Megamall B, Mandaluyong City; Market! Market!, Bonifacio Global City; People Support, Makati City; and Eastwood, Quezon City) on July 3 and 4, other Luzon branches on July 5, and Visayas and Mindanao outlets on July 8. The Chizza will be in stores for three months.
