Tenya Tempura Tendon opens in BGC, offers special one-day-only discounts
Japan's No. 1 tempura chain is making its rounds in Metro Manila.
(SPOT.ph) Japan's top tempura chain, Tenya Tempura Tendon, which originates from Asakusa, Tokyo, opened their first outpost in SM Megamall last April, but they're quickly expanding with more branches before the year ends. The latest is at the second level of Bonifacio Stopover, Bonifacio Global City, which opened yesterday, July 12.
For today, July 13, the Tenya Tempura Tendon at BGC is offering their Classic Tendon for a one-day-only special price—P195 (original price P255).
The restaurant's tempura is not the casual fry-then-serve variety. A bowl of steaming, sticky Japanese rice is topped with crispy shrimp and vegetables and a gamechanger—the delicious dontare sauce, which is sweet and dark, adding some complexity to those simple flavors.
