Resto chain shows what happens when a burger becomes a pizza

They call it a "burgerizza."


( Metro Manila is no stranger to enormous burgers. There's the Monster, a burger beast, from Woodfire Grill Republic in Metrowalk, there's the six- and nine-inch-wide barkada portions from Casa Verde; and remember the Big Buns Burger from Holiday Inn? The one that's four inches high and about a foot in diameter? We haven't even discussed the super tall ones—of which Stackers Burger Cafe has a version called the Penthouse.


This time, Stackers isn't going for height, but for width—and impact. The restaurant chain, which is famous for their burgers and Baked Fried Chicken, has combined the powers of a giant burger and the universal appeal of a pizza. They've recently unveiled their latest creation: the Burgerizza, available for P499.


The Burgerizza features an oversized version of their burger (Angus patty, lettuce, tomato sauce, mayonnaise) and uses the top bun as a pizza crust (it reminds us a bit of KFC's short-lived Cheese Top burger). Available pizza toppings are Philly Cheese and Hawaiian. 



Stackers Burger Cafe has branches at Eastwood Citywalk, Quezon City; SM North EDSA Annex, Quezon City; Alabang Town Center, Muntinlupa City; and Promenade, Greenhills, San Juan City.
