Churreria La Lola heats up UP Town Center
The lines are still long.
(SPOT.ph) The little stall at Power Plant Mall that propelled a quiet Spanish favorite into something of a 2015 It food has just opened a branch at UP Town Center, Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City. It's the third outlet of Churreria La Lola, after the Rockwell flagship and the equally constantly packed store at SM Aura Premier.
Churreria La Lola opened late last year and quickly became known as the counter with the unending line (Read: New Restaurant Alert: Churreria La Lola at Power Plant Mall, Makati). Service has never been slow, however, and it's because of the store's commitment to frying up their choux pastry on the spot that makes it worth the wait.
Owned by the folks behind Las Flores and Rambla, La Lola offers churros in several permutations: plain with dip, stuffed (SPOT.ph's personal favorite), savory, and a la mode. Prices range from P110 to P275. It is currently ranked No. 2 on SPOT.ph's Top 10 Churros list.
