Chelsea Kitchen to Open a New Branch This August
Enjoy their carbonara, QC!
(SPOT.ph) Looks like the Raintree Group of Restaurants isn't daunted by Ghost Month. We guess we wouldn't either if we could make carbonara like theirs.
Replacing the MoMo Cafe (another Raintree restaurant) in Eastwood Mall is the second branch of Chelsea Kitchen, the younger, hipper sibling of Chelsea Grand Cafe in Serendra. Its first incarnation is in SM Mega Fashion Hall.
It features easy-to-enjoy dishes done through meticulous processes. Their iced tea, for example, is cold-brewed and sun-drenched for several hours. The beef in the Hot Tapa sandwich spills out from the sides and is accompanied by this delightful French onion soup that doubles as a dipping sauce.
A fast favorite is the mushroom chicharon. Chef Kalel Chan uses a special batter to coat it tightly and keep it crisp without absorbing too much oil. Warning: It's incredibly addictive.
