Honey Creme Philippines to open next week
Hooray for soft-serve ice cream!
(SPOT.ph) No matter how bad the weather gets, no matter awful the traffic situation becomes, every day is always a perfect occasion for ice cream. So, despite the unpredictable rain and resulting flooding, Honey Crème’s impending Philippine launch is pretty good timing. The international dessert chain will open its first branch at the fourth level of SM Aura Premier, Bonifacio Global City, on September 19.
Taiwan-based Honey Crème serves Korean-style soft-serve ice cream: a light, cool, milky creation which comes in a default vanilla, then flourished with over-the-top add-ons like a globe of cotton candy, a slice of cake, caramel popcorn, chocolate, jelly, cereal, macarons, or an armor of grains. The signature honeycomb is by far the most popular topping. The brand puts emphasis on organic ingredients so you know you’re only getting the good stuff.
Some Asian branches offer other ice cream flavors, like green tea in Hong Kong or pandan in Singapore, but it remains to be seen which ones the local franchise will be bringing in. On their Facebook page, Honey Crème Philippines has already hinted at a tan-hued soft-serve that we can only guess is either mocha, coffee, or tea.
Soon after, Honey Crème Philippines will open a second branch at Trinoma.
