Commune reopens; Milkcow to launch in BGC
So this weekend is all about coffee and ice cream.
(SPOT.ph) It was on June 30 when beloved coffee shop Commune began a hiatus, causing the caffeine deprivation of many loyal fans. After two years of operating at their adorable outlet in Salcedo Village, the owners announced an eventual move to 36 Polaris Street corner Durban Street. The opening date was kept under wraps, but after three months, Commune is now on "soft opening." We can finally enjoy their 3D art once again.
Another favorite, Milkcow, is set to open a third shop on Saturday, October 3. The Korean soft-serve chain, which already has branches in Eastwood and Power Plant Mall, will take over Forbestown Road, Bonifacio Global City. Starting at 2 p.m. on opening day, the first 200 people in line will get free ice cream and waffles!
