Around the World with Four Wagyu Burgers
It's like a burger passport!
(SPOT.ph) We always like to say that when you don't have the resources to travel, you can take your taste buds on a tour instead. It's not the same as actually being there, but at least you can taste the flavor of each country without ever leaving your chair.
Village Tavern is hosting a burger world tour, featuring the identifying tastes of four different countries. Each burger is an example Village Tavern's signature thick, marbled, pure Wagyu beef patty grilled to smoky succulence.
The Octoberfest Wagyu puts together the excitement of the German festival with a blanket of Swiss cheese, braised red onions, and beer-spiked (of course) mustard. Detouring to Latin America is the Mexican with a thick chili and queso sauce to make the beefiness pop.
Those who love a good salad would find the Waldorf an interesting and very sinful take on the classic greens arrangement. Saint-Nectaire cheese, apples, celery, and walnuts contribute freshness and a unique crunchiness to the Wagyu patty. Chef Josh Boutwood also converts flavors of Monte Carlo into a burger smothered with (more) Saint-Nectaire cheese, black olive tapenade, and a delightful layer of prosciutto.
We doubt you can eat all of these burgers in one go. Take them a day at a time. Relish them, like you would a memorable trip.
