Locavore's second branch set to open in March
And they'll be offering new stuff!
(SPOT.ph) Filipino restaurant Locavore, whose sizzling sinigang and pancit luglog have their own cult following, is opening a second branch. You'll soon taste their brand of cuisine at Forbestown Center, Bonifacio Global City (right next to American comfort food restaurant Frank and Dean).
According to co-owner Tin Magsaysay Matic, the new Locavore will open by March (they've been actively looking for new restaurant staff on their Facebook page) and that it will also serve breakfast. We can't wait to taste Chef Mikel Zaguirre's interpretations of Filipino breakfast food.
Locavore opened on Brixton Street in 2013, wowing with its offbeat but familiar set of Filipino dishes. Despite a location that's not quite in the middle of foodie favorite Kapitolyo, Locavore is perpetually full.
Meanwhile, Chef Mikel's other project, a taqueria at Better Living, Parañaque, is finally taking shape. It was supposed to open August 2015.
