This dessert shop is taking the health track
The Bunny Baker is broadening their base with a healthy new menu.
(SPOT.ph) The Bunny Baker Cafe, known for its impressive cake sculptures, bunny-shaped macarons, latte art, bunny-shaped gelato, and chocolate-coated chicken skin, is starting the new year with a new menu—a healthy menu!
It's a perfect fit (no pun intended) for owners and fitness enthusiasts Aila and Kensei Yonzon. Their new BFit menu is carefully designed to have a "calorie-to-benefit" ratio and features a healthy balance of protein, carbs, and (good) fats.
Black Rice Steak Chimichurri
The dishes aren't your standard diet food either. They have Black Rice Steak Chimichurri (which is a compact rice meal); flourless Protein Pancakes with bananas, peanut butter, slivered almonds, and a scoop of whey protein; a Quinoa Glow Bowl with grains, corn, tomatoes, fresh mushrooms, spinach, garlic, and avocado; Pan-seared Salmon with mashed sweet potato; Zucchini Pasta with crumbled bacon; and a Chocolate Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie.
The best part is that afterwards, you can have their freshly churned Bunny-lato or a cake a la mode. (There's a gym in the same building, too!)
The Bunny Baker Cafe is at Hemady Square, 301 Hemady Street corner E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue, Quezon City. Read more about The Bunny Baker Cafe.
