These wings will take you around the world
T.G.I. Friday's is on a delicious kind of tour.
(SPOT.ph) T.G.I. Friday's is going on a world tour—a Wings World Tour, that is.
The family chain is dressing up their signature wings in five new flavors inspired by different countries. There's Honey Sriracha that modernizes rustic Thai sweet and spicy notes. The flavor isn't unfamiliar at all and pickled jalapeños give it extra heat. Of course, you enjoy this with generous dips into homemade bleu cheese dressing.
China comes in the form of Kung Pao Wings—a more addictive version of spice-glazed chicken. The ones from T.G.I. Friday's come with their own chili blend, fresh cilantro, and peanuts. From the Italian side of things, there's the classic Garlic Parmesan. The taste of that hard cheese will hit you at first bite.
Two versions represent the U.S. There's the Spicy Jack Daniels' Wings, a reinterpretation of the restaurant's bestseller, dusted with hot powder and topped with corn salsa. Those who lean towards flavors from the American South will go for the Texas BBQ Wings, which is painted in smoky barbecue sauce and served with ranch dressing and apple lime slaw.
An order is priced at P595 per pound.
The Wings World Tour is available until May. Click here for a list of T.G.I. Friday's branches.
