Chinese favorite Summer Palace to temporarily shut down
But you can still get your favorite Chinese dishes.
(SPOT.ph) EDSA Shangri-La's signature Chinese restaurant Summer Palace is set to undergo a major renovation this June. The restaurant will be temporarily shut down starting May 31, with operations transferred to The Marquee until September.
The 22-year-old restaurant is popular for its consistent service and classic Chinese dishes. On top of a wonderful lauriat menu, it boasts over 40 types of dim sum, which makes their occasional Dim Sum Buffet such an event to look forward to.
Summer Palace's intricate interiors also contribute to the restaurant's overall effect. It has a scene-stealing statement piece: a bird's nest enclosure made from a traditional vintage Chinese screen decor that wraps around the dining area.
Most of Summer Palace's changes will be kept to a physical level. The core menu will be maintained, with new additions on the way.
EDSA Shangri-La is at 1 Garden Way, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City.
