Ooma is opening a second branch in Makati
We have exclusive details, including new dishes to look forward to on the menu!
(SPOT.ph) Modern Japanese restaurant and rice bar Ooma is celebrating their first anniversary in a totally cool way—by opening a second branch, this time at Rockwell Edades & Garden Villas, Makati City.
Chef-partner Bruce Ricketts (who also helms the tasty stylings of Mecha Uma) is busy prepping new menu additions, such as Maguro Zuke Taco-Maki, Tempura Soft Shell Crab Maki, and Anago Truffle Mushroom Hot Soba.
We also heard that a sake bar will be installed on the second floor for customers to enjoy happy hour, sake, soju, "hai-balls," kamikaze shakers, local and Japanese beers with appetizers that double as bar chow: O-Gyoza, Corn Kakiage, and Pork and Cheese Tsukune.
For their part, Ooma's first location in SM Mega Fashion Hall will be giving away vouchers for buy-one-get-one donburis from May 30 to June 3. Watch for more details on the May 28th edition of Cheap Eats.
