This sawi-themed café is opening north of Metro Manila this week
Listen up, Fairview peeps.
(SPOT.ph) With all the rain we're getting lately, it’s tempting to just pull up a blanket, put on some sad music, wallow in your sorrows, and stay in bed all day. There are times when hot chocolate and mac n’ cheese just won’t do. What you need is a cup of Kapeng Matapang na Kaya Kang Ipaglaban. Maybe a bit of Loner Waffles and Moving-On Churros, too. Here’s a bit of good news that’ll hopefully make you want to leave the house: Hugot Café is opening their second branch in Manila, and it’s going to be at North Fairview this Saturday, August 20.
It was only April 2016 when Hugot Café opened their first branch in Tondo and made rounds all over social media for their sawi-themed menu. Soon after, they expanded to Batangas City. Eat—or rather, drink—your feelings over some Walang Tayo (P90), a cookies and cream-flavored milkshake, or Pa-fall (P90), a sweet coffee crumble milkshake. If those aren’t enough for you, you can also indulge on some It’s Complicated Corn Dogs (P75). There’s no need to feel embarrassed here. Hold back your tears or let them out, no one will judge you for wanting another bite of those Broken Churros (P65).
Hugot Café has branches at XRC Building, 3702 Hermosa Corner Limay Street, Tondo, Manila; and G/F GN Building, JP Laurel Highway, Unit 02-01 Kumintang Ibaba, Batangas City. The Fairview branch will be at Lot 10 Block 83 Regalado Avenue, North Fairview, Quezon City. For more information, visit Hugot Café Fairview’s official Facebook page.
