The Makirrito combines two delicious things in one
Here's a handy meal from Tokyo Tokyo.
(SPOT.ph) What happens when you turn a maki into a burrito? Why, a Makirrito, obviously. Okay, maybe it’s not obvious, but Tokyo Tokyo ingeniously introduces one complete meal that can be enjoyed by people who are always on-the-go.
This new offering comes in two variants—Samurai Karaage Makirrito, which features sushi rice, shredded carrots, cabbage, their signature chicken karaage, and special Japanese sauces and mayo; and California Tempura Makirrito, a roll of tempura crabsticks, ripe mangoes, shredded cabbage and sliced carrots wrapped in sushi rice and nori.
Both variants are at an introductory price of P100, and is now available in all Tokyo Tokyo outlets nationwide. It’s definitely a step up from plain crackers for your morning commute, isn’t it?
