Le Petit Soufflé

Walk into Le Petit Soufflé, and you’re instantly transported from a busy mall to a serene, lush garden. Leaves drape the entire ceiling and potted plants are scattered throughout the restaurant. The pièce de résistance is, of course, the soufflé, but award-winning pastry chef Miko Aspiras makes sure to whip up other dishes of both sweet and savory kind you won’t be able to resist trying.

Coffee Project

It’s hard to miss the bright, colorful flower chandeliers at Coffee Project. It gives off a calming vibe especially with poppies placed beside every table. Before you know it, you’ll find yourself actually getting some work done over great coffee and pastries thanks to its relaxing atmosphere.

Happy Garden Café

Happy Garden Café’s interiors are composed of white walls, flowers, and plush sofas that give you an idea of what the restaurant’s philosophy is: To serve clean and mostly gluten-free food. Best of all is that you’ll actually enjoy it. If there's a place that can make you fall in love with clean eating, this café is it.

Basil may have branched out, but each restaurant carries the same garden-inspired furnishings draped with greens and paneled with wooden floorings. This place delights their patrons with a wide menu of traditional Thai cuisine that's lovingly made from scratch.

Lemuria Gourmet Restaurant

Probably one of the most romantic restaurants in the Manila, Lemuria is an old house refurbished into a luxe, picturesque space that’s perfect for intimate and memorable dinner dates (we've heard a lot of proposals have happened here!). The food is mostly French and Mediterranean-inspired, and the wine selection may overwhelm the uninitiated. But there’s no need to worry, though, for the waiters are well-versed on their bottles, can help you choose, and may even impress you with a short course on wine, wine pairings, and the flavors captured in each bottle.

The Wholesome Table

Owner Bianca Araneta-Elizalde opened The Wholesome Table in 2014 to introduce a new kind of “healthy eating” to the Filipino palate. Instead of the low-carb, oil-free, and non-fried impression, she takes a “toxin-free” approach which eliminates hydrogenated fat, margarine, MSG, and anything canned from the menu, serving only “real food” that shines through the restaurant’s organic look.

Earth Kitchen

Consistency is one of the keys to sustaining any restaurant, and Earth Kitchen nails it in both their White Plains and Bonifacio Global City branches. The former has a greenhouse feel highlighted by an old trellis, while the latter displays a more rustic yet lush interior decked with flora. Both still offer dishes out of organic produce that are sourced locally from indigenous communities.

Rustic Mornings by Isabelo

If anything can make you brave the drive to Marikina, it's Rustic Mornings. It’s an old residential space converted into a “jungle” restaurant best known for their hearty breakfast offerings. The homey and discreet ambience is complemented by plants grown and strung all over the place, making each nook picture-perfect.

Hillside Café & Juice Bar

Nestled within an actual garden (with a gardening store beside it) is Hillside Café. It’s known to be a healthy foodie’s hub, but any diner nevertheless would find the food exceptionally tasty. Smoothies and detox juices are also available, should you choose to consume your greens as beverages.

Pio’s Kitchen

Drive through Scout Reyes and look for the white fence with a blue gate. Executive Chef Chin Gallegos-Bagis is at the helm of Pio's Kitchen, and has transformed her grandparents’ ancestral house into a private dining space. The open space and garden outside are free for its diners to roam around, and guests also get to enjoy a sneak peek inside the kitchen to join in on the cooking.
