New York favorite Mighty Quinn's Barbeque is finally in Manila
Ribs fans are in for a treat.
(SPOT.ph) There's nothing quite like biting into the smoky goodness of tender, succulent, barbequed meat. Luckily, you'll have plenty of options soon enough because Mighty Quinn's Barbeque will be opening at SM Mega Fashion Hall on December 12, Monday.
Owned by Hugh Mangnum who also serves as pitmaster, the casual barbeque place combines cooking techniques from Hugh's home state of Texas with those from North Carolina (his wife's home state) and other states to create their own "New York style", resulting in slow-cooked meats with standout flavors.
Declared as one of the best barbeque places in New York in a glowing review by The New York Times, Mighty Quinn's has since expanded from the East Village to other locations in New York, in New Jersey, and several countries in Asia. Meat lovers in Metro Manila can also have their fill of Mighty Quinn's Pulled Pork, which New York Times reviewer Pete Wells describes as "staggeringly good" and other barbequed meat. The sides are not to be missed too; the Burnt End Baked Beans, slightly charred and darkened with mollasses, is hailed by The New York Times reviewer as "the best I've ever tasted." After hearing all these praises, we definitely can't contain our excitement.
Mighty Quinn's Barbeque will be at 3/F SM Mega Fashion Hall, Mandaluyong City.
