Treat yourself to these art-inspired cocktails this weekend

Get them after dropping by Art Fair Philippines!

(SPOT.ph) Since its launch in 2013, Art Fair Philippines has become one of the most anticipated art events in the Metro. This year’s edition is “bigger, better, and bolder,” with over 46 galleries coming together at The Link in Makati City. With three maze-like floors to explore, we’re sure you’ll be in the mood for a good drink afterwards. Aside from the grand showcase, Art Fair also partnered up with several drinking establishments around Metro Manila to create limited-edition cocktails. We round up five that will keep you in your art-induced high.

The Bowery’s Saint Basquiat

Channeling Jean-Michel Basquiat and his distinct eclectic and vivid art style, The Bowery’s Saint Basquiat is a coconut salted mojito with confetti-like coconut shavings.

The Bowery is at Forbeswood Heights, Burgos Circle, Bonifacio Global City.

Museum Café’s The Miro

Joan Miró is a Spanish sculptor and painter, best known today as a Surrealist. Much like how Miro’s paintings create harmony between dreams and reality, this gin-based drink blends the earthiness of fresh herbs and the sweetness of fresh fruits to create something refreshing.

The Museum Cafe is at 1/F, Greenbelt 4, Ayala Museum, Ayala Center, Greenbelt, Makati City.

Wild Poppy’s Pop Art

Bold and colorful like the art movement that shares its name, Wild Poppy’s Pop Art is a blend of fresh apples, apple juice, cinnamon-infused gin, and lemon juice. The side of caramel popcorn in the classic red-and-white carton completes this drink.

Wild Poppy is at 2/F, 5666 Don Pedro Street, Poblacion, Makati City.

Chotto Matte’s The Kurosawa

It’s no surprise that Tokyo-inspired bar Chotto Matte decided to celebrate iconic Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa. The Kurosawa is a blend of bourbon, pineapples, and oranges for a drink that's clean and a classic like a Kurosawa movie.

Chotto Matte is at G/F, Net Park Building, 5th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

Rocket Room's The Dali

A drink inspired by Salvador Dali should be as grandoise and imaginative. The Dali by Rocket Room is a vodka-based cocktail infused with a blend of spices for a novel drinking experience.

Rocket Room is at 30th Street Corner 7th Avenue, Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City.
