Churreria La Lola's new sweet treat must be eaten during Lent

It's tradition!

(SPOT.ph) What did you give up for Lent? Is it churros? If you did, then this might just be reason to celebrate a little because Churreria La Lola has created a new treat for you. Not only is it not churros, but it's also traditionally consumed in Latin American countries during Lent. Introducing the Buñuelos (P110/three pieces, P205/six pieces, P395/12 pieces, P575/18 pieces)!

 


 

Churreria La Lola has made it a tradition to release some fried sweet treats in time for Lent (remember their Buñuelos de Semana Santa in 2016?), and this year is no exception. These new Buñuelos resemble doughnut holes more than actual doughnuts, and are made from freshly baked dough formed into balls. They’re then filled with a luscious custard filling, then dusted with lots of cinnamon sugar. And they’re available in all Churreria La Lola branches only until April 27, so better get them while you still can!
