The halo-halo gets an Italian ice twist this summer
Plus more Filipino flavors at Rita's!
(SPOT.ph) No Filipino summer is complete without halo-halo! You can find the shaved ice dessert anywhere once the warm weather rolls in, from neighborhood stalls to restaurants, and now even Rita's Italian Ice. Rita's just came out with their own version of the Pinoy treat called Halo-Halo Blanca (P200).
This halo-halo uses premium Italian ice for a smoother, milkier blend. It's then topped with macapuno strips, langka, red beans, saba, nata de coco, leche flan, pinipig, and fresh milk. The dessert is part of Rita's Summer Fiesta Flavors series which also includes Maja de Mais, Ginatan Bilo-Bilo, and Ube Mango (all for P200). The Summer Fiesta Flavors are only available at Rita's Greenhills and UP Town Center, but you can also get halo-halo as a gelati, with the return of their Premium Halo-Halo Gelati (P180), available in all branches.
Rita's Italian Ice is at V-Mall, Greenhills, San Juan City; UP Town Center, Diliman, Quezon City; Alabang Town Center, Alabang, Muntinlupa City; and The Block, SM North EDSA, Quezon City.
