Mexican is on the RACKS menu until the end of May
We won't judge if you order this whole plate for yourself.
(SPOT.ph) If we Filipinos have Flores de Mayo, then Mexicans have Cinco de Mayo. One of Mexico’s most popular holidays isn’t actually their independence day (that’s on September 16 if you’re curious), but commemorates the Mexican army’s victory over France in 1862. The holiday has since evolved into a celebration of Mexican culture and heritage. For RACKS? It’s an excuse for you to feast on their Hickory Smoked Carnitas (P455), available until May 31.
The Cinco de Mayo-inspired plate has shredded melt-in-your-mouth pork glazed with a hickory barbecue sauce, a hint of zest, and other spices. It’s paired with Java rice, baked beans, nachos, and salsa for a complete Mexican feast. If you're tired of the usual tacos or burritos, this dish is your next safe bet.
