Cool Off With Ice Cream and Waffles at This Soon-to-Open Dessert Café
Gelare from Australia is coming to Manila.
(SPOT.ph) Rainy weather can't stop us from indulging in ice cream, especially when a new ice cream parlor is set to open very soon! Australia-based dessert café Gelare will open their first Philippine branch at Uptown Mall on the second week of July.
Founded in 1986 at Fremantle, West Australia, Gelare sets itself apart with their ice cream: With zero air in the mix, the result is a thicker, richer blend. For those confused with their name, their official website clarifies that they don't actually serve Italian gelato—'gelare' actually means 'to freeze' in Italian.
All nitpicking aside, dessert enthusiasts have sundaes, banana splits, ice cream served in waffle cups and cones, actual waffles and other light breakfast fare to look forward to. No kind of weather can stop us from having these sweet treats.
Gelare is at 3/F Uptown Mall, Uptown Bonifacio.
