This Truffle Mac and Cheese Is the Cheesy Treat You Need Today
Just one more reason to drop by Common Folk.
(SPOT.ph) It’s easy to fall in love with cozy coffee shop Common Folk, especially if you’re into good food and coffee in a Pinterest-worthy setting. Their grilled cheese, for one, is enough to turn anyone into a regular—but just last June, the café expanded their menu to add new drinks, dishes, and desserts that’ll make every visit more exciting.
Apple Cider Espresso
Truffle and Cheese
Tomato Chorizo Pasta
Common Folk’s new Apple Cider Espresso (P160) certainly is a different way to have your regular cuppa, but you’ll easily fall in love with the soothing twist it brings to your espresso shot. The coffee shop also adds more cheesy offerings like Truffle and Cheese (P300), which uses bowtie pasta so you get a burst of cheesiness in every bite. For something with a little more spice, have the Tomato Chorizo Pasta (P260) with chorizo bits in tomato sauce.
Chorizo & Egg Hash
Chicken n' Egg
The open-faced toasts at Common Folk are also crowd-favorites for good reason—we still can’t stop raving about their smoked salmon open toast—and we’re sure the new additions would easily steal hearts, too. On the menu, the Chorizo & Egg Hash (P250) reads like the perfect breakfast toast, with chorizo, fried potatoes, and a sunny side-up egg on top of toast, though you’ll want to have it any time of the day, too. Common Folk also answers the age-old question by combining chicken and egg on a toast with the aptly named Chicken n' Egg (P240), which also has fried potato strings for added crunch. With so many new hearty items on the menu, it looks like Common Folk is still staying true to their motto: "No Bad Days."
Common Folk is at 79 Katipunan Avenue, White Plains, Quezon City.
