You'll Love How Le Petit Soufflé Is Upgrading This Brunch Staple
You can have their brunch options the whole day.
(SPOT.ph) Let’s face it, not everyone is a morning person. If you’re not one, you’d probably rather trade breakfast for a few more minutes of shuteye. But with the blessing known as all-day breakfast, you don’t have to choose one over the other anymore. Japanese-French bistro Le Petit Soufflé is joining the fun.
Breakfast For Champions
Yes, it's available all day, but the promise of a thick bacon slab, rich foie gras, a tangy red berry compote and a fluffy sunny-side-up egg in the Breakfast For Champions (P695) will make you want to wake up early anyway. This power sandwich is packed with varying textures and contrasting sweet, sour, and salty flavors that are sure to wake up your taste buds. Don’t hesitate to pour maple syrup on it, either!
Pulled Chasyu Benedict
Your favorite ramen topping finds a different partner—toasted brioche buns—in the Pulled Chasyu Benedict (P375). The combined saltiness of the pork-belly strips and crispy bacon bits are tempered by a perfectly poached egg, mushrooms, and lusciously buttered bread. For a touch of Japanese flavor, the hollandaise topping is sprinkled with nori and furikake.
Le Petit Soufflé also works in Japanese-inspired flavors in the Unagi Benedict (P695), trading gourmet sardines for smooth and smokey eel.
Smoked Salmon Benedict
Meanwhile, the Smoked Salmon Benedict (P635) is served with fatty salmon slices and two poached eggs. It also has some fresh romaine lettuce on the side to cut through the rich flavor. The dill-infused hollandaise and runny egg yolk of this sandwich work so well together, we wish they’d make a dressing out of them.
Le Petit Soufflé has always proved that they're not afraid to play around and take risks with food. They are, after all, a French-Japanese restaurant—a label not many can embrace as well as they have. These new takes on the breakfast sandwich are proof of that.
Le Petit Soufflé has branches at 3/F Century City Mall, Kalayaan Avenue, Poblacion, Makati City; and 2/F Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City.
