10. G Gastropub’s Cheese and Gravy Steak Fries (P215)
What got our attention is the thick-cut fries' tangy-sweet barbecue-powder seasoning that gives it that extra oomph. Although each fry just falls a bit short on flavor, they're made with fresh potatoes, and that's always a good thing. We wish the barbecue flavor was more than skin-deep—but it's not so bad when you think about it, since an order also comes with two savory dips,
G Gastropub is at Crossroads, 32nd Street, Bonifacio Global City.
9. Providore’s House Fries (P95)
Whether as a side dish or just on its own, Providore's House Fries have an addicting texture and crunch that's soft but definitely not soggy. Each crispy piece bursts with real potato goodness, though you may have to add a bit more salt for the flavors to really shine. It's easy on the wallet, too, so you won't have to scrimp on that extra order!
Providore is at G/F, SM Aura Premier, Bonifacio Global City.
8. Boutique Burger Kitchen’s Skinny Fries (P100)
If you’re looking for the perfect companion for your burger, then these fries are hard to beat. At first glance, you can't help but notice the perfect golden-brown color. They're not too salty, but they're not bland either, which is perfect if you want a side dish to complement the richness of your burger. The Skinny Fries come in a pretty sizeable serving, too. Make sure to try it with Boutique Burger Kitchen's homemade tomato ketchup!
Boutique Burger Kitchen is at G/F The Fort Strip, Bonifacio Global City.
7. Lazy Bastard’s Fries (P100)
Do you also feel like you've hit the jackpot whenever you find itty-bitty crispy bits at the bottom of your pile of fries? Finding many of those easy-to-miss pieces in Lazy Bastard’s huge serving feels just like that—but better. Aside from those perfect bites of crunch, the fries are thin and enjoyably soft on the inside, but they're surprisingly not soggy. Plus, these fries have just the right amount of saltiness.

6. Genki Sushi’s French Fries (P90)
It’s weird to order fries at a sushi place, we know, but Genki Sushi's fries are worth the mention. These golden delights are thicker than the usual, with a perfect salty seasoning that goes beyond its crisp skin. This might just make a sushi-and-fries combo happen, especially since the fries also go perfectly with Japanese mayo.
Genki Sushi is at G/F UP Town Center, Diliman, Quezon City; and Bonifacio Stopover, 31st Street, Bonifacio Global City.
5. 8Cuts’ Skinny Fries (P60)
We already know that 8 Cuts serves the best onion rings in town, so we just had to put their skinny fries to the test. Despite their small size, each fry is flavor-packed and well-seasoned. You get one tiny piece and suddenly you’re reaching for two, then three, then more—and that's the beauty of it. There’s no need to worry about that

4. Green Pastures’ Crispy Fresh Fries (P170)
Just by the look of the crispy potato skin and perfectly imperfect cuts and sizes, you can tell these fries are freshly made for your consumption. The parmesan shavings and bits of parsley balance out the mild kick you get from the pepper that’s generously sprinkled on top of Green Pastures' Crispy Fresh Fries. They also come with a bold cumin-mayo dip if you want to add a flavorful punch, but we think the fries can stand on their own.

3. Army Navy’s Freedom Fries (P75)
The hype is real with this one. Don’t be fooled by the unassuming look of these fries in their cardboard tub because while they’re long and admittedly thin, these fries are big on flavor. Every crunchy bite assures you of a savory and peppery taste that's pretty addictive, which makes this budget-friendly option hard to resist.

2. The Wholesome Table’s Regular Fries (P120)
There are a lot of ways to describe these fries, but regular isn’t one of them. You know they’re made fresh because of that glistening potato skin. The best part is there's no greasy aftertaste at all. There’s also a satisfying crunch and a saltiness to it that is balanced out by the herbs sprinkled on top. And even if they’re not that thick, you can still taste the real potato flavor with every light-battered piece.

1. Le Petit Soufflé’s Furikake Pomme Frites (P165)
This might seem like a glorified version of your favorite childhood shoestring-potato snack
You’ll be happily digging through this tall serving of crispy fries for a clump to reach for next and you’ll be rewarded with a unique flavor of just the right amount of saltiness and a real potato taste. Plus, you’ll get your money’s worth with just how hefty each serving is. You might have doubts about whether or not you’ll finish it. (Spoiler alert: You will.)
Le Petit Soufflé is at 3/F Century City Mall, Kalayaan Avenue, Makati City; and 2/F Mega Fashion Hall, Mandaluyong City.
