Jollibee Is Putting Pineapples in Their Burgers Again
The Aloha Yumburger is back!
(SPOT.ph) There's no end in sight for the age-old debate about whether pineapples do belong on pizza or not, but maybe they'd do better in burgers. Jollibee at least thinks so, because they're bringing back one of their cult-favorite menu items: the Aloha Yumburger (P85).
The Aloha Yumburger is perfect if you love sweet-salty flavors, with fruity pineapple contrasting with crisp bacon, plus a beef patty and honey mustard dressing. This burger became quite popular in pop culture partly because of Anthony Bourdain, who tried it in the Los Angeles episode of his TV show, Parts Unknown. In his visit to the Philippines during this year's World Street Food Congress, he also shared that "I did reluctantly enjoy my Aloha burger." The Aloha Yumburger will be available in all Jollibee branches starting October 2.
