This New Tempura Bowl Has All Your Seafood Cravings Covered

It has salmon, crab, and more!

(SPOT.ph) Gone are the days when tempura simply meant “breaded shrimp” and tendon was a foreign concept to most foodies. It’s largely thanks to Japanese restaurant Tenya, one of the restaurants that introduced the tendon or tempura rice bowl to the local food scene. This year, the tendon restaurant is ending the year with a bang by introducing another over-the-top tendon bowl: The Winter Seafood Tendon (P395), available until January 15, 2018 only.

 


 

This bowl has Japanese rice topped with lots of seafood goodness: Black tiger prawn, soft shell crab, and Norwegian salmon plus kani sticks, red pickled ginger, and green beans. The bowl is then generously topped off with Tenya’s special sweet-savory tempura sauce.

 

The best part about this bowl is you also get to give back: Proceeds from orders of the Winter Seafood Tendon will go to Make a Wish Foundation, which grants the wishes of children with life-threatening conditions.
