Did You Know You Can Find the Biggest Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Asia?

They have cool features no coffee enthusiast should miss!

(SPOT.ph) Whether you’re a die-hard Starbucks addict, or are just interested in what goes into your regular cup of brew, the Starbucks Reserve Roastery is a must-visit. Three years ago, the Reserve Roastery can only be found in Seattle, Washington, but this year, you won’t have to head that far anymore to visit one with the opening of the biggest Reserve Roastery in Shanghai, China.





The 30,000 square-foot Reserve Roastery isn’t only the first in Asia and currently the biggest in the world; it also boasts lots of cool features no coffee enthusiast should miss. One, the Shanghai Reserve Roastery features three coffee bars including one which, at 26.9 meters, is the longest in any Starbucks to date.

Aside from being able to witness the bean-to-cup process firsthand at the Roastery, you can also immerse yourself in the first Starbucks Augmented Reality experience. All you have to do is point your smartphone at specific parts of the Roastery and see additional information about Starbucks’ brewing process come to life.  




Prefer tea over coffee? There’s still plenty of reasons to visit, with a Teavana bar made only with 3D printed materials and tea curators who can mix up a custom-made blend for you. We're crossing our fingers we soon get a Reserve Roastery in the Philippines, but for now, time to save up for that trip!
