Katsu Restaurant Ginza Bairin Says Goodbye to Manila
It's been a good five years!
(SPOT.ph) It's a sad day for katsu lovers: Japanese katsu restaurant Ginza Bairin is saying goodbye to Manila with the closing of their last branch at UP Town Center on April 3, Tuesday.
Ginza Bairin came from Tokyo's Ginza district to Manila in 2013, opening their first branch at Glorietta 2, Makati City. Since then, it's been almost five years of their katsu (like the golden-fried, juicy, and flavorful Kurobuta Katsu which made it to SPOT's top 10 katsu list), plus ramen, sushi, and a Katsu Sando or katsu sandwich that was ahead of its time. Be sure to drop by one last time to say a proper goodbye to their perfectly crispy golden katsu.
Ginza Bairin is at G/F UP Town Center, Diliman, Quezon City
