Kam's Roast Is Making It Easier to Indulge in Roast Duck Whenever You Want

All it takes is a trip to the mall!


(SPOT.ph) Rumored to be opening in Manila since 2017, Kam's Roast finally launched their first local branch at SM Megamall on May 9, and it's safe to say they were worth the wait. The Hong Kong restaurant with a Michelin star under its belt brings to Manila the same menu of mouthwatering Cantonese-style roasts and a luxe vibe miles away from their hawker-like flagship.


The star at Kam's Roast is undoubtedly the Roast Duck, served whole with a sweet plum sauce that balances the bitingly salty flavor of the duck. Also on the menu are three different kinds of pork: The Regular Char Siu is Kam's version of barbecued pork, and though this cut is already generously marbled with fat, go for the Toro Char Siu if you prefer your pork packed with lots of delicious succulence. The Roast Pork, on the other hand, has golden-brown fried pork skin with a delighftul crackle. On the lighter side is the Soy Chicken, served with a ginger sauce that amps up the mildly sweet flavor of the chicken with punchy salty-spicy flavor.


Dining solo? You can pair your choice of roast with either rice or noodles, and mix-and-match the roast meat in combos, too.
