WATCH: Jollibee Opens First Branch in Macau to Crazy-Intense Lines
People lined up as early as 7 a.m.!
(SPOT.ph) A cheerful bumblebee is the last thing you'd think would be able to conquer the world and yet, here we are: Jollibee continues to expand globally, with their newest international branch opening in Macau, and as usual the response was intense.
According to news channel TDM Canal Macau people lined up as early as 7 a.m. to have Chickenjoy, Jolly Spaghetti, and other favorites. Hundreds, most of them Filipinos, were estimated to have turned up for Jollibee Macau's first day, with lines extending blocks away from the entrance—good thing a lively Jollibee was there to cheer the folks at the queue as they waited for a taste of home.
Early this year, Jollibee opened its first store in Milan and added a Toronto branch in Canada—they're hoping to have 100 stores in five years. Also in the works are stores in the United Kingdom, Malaysia, and Indonesia. If Jollibee aims to have a store wherever there are Filipinos, then it looks like they're well on their way to achieving that dream.
