Ooma Is Making it Easier for You to Try Their New Aburi Rice Bowls
Get it while you can!
(SPOT.ph) Metro Manila is a great place if you love Japanese food. Whether you love the more traditional eateries or favor modern takes on the cuisine, the Metro has something for you. Those who don't mind their Japanese food with a little twist are very much familiar with Ooma, though the restaurant hasn't run out of ways to surprise us. In April 2018, they opened Ooma Sushi Bar in Salcedo Village with exclusive menu items, including Aburi Rice Bowls (P365)! But some things are just too good not to be shared; until September 2, you can get an Aburi Rice Bowl at any Ooma branch including their newest one at Greenbelt 3.
Salmon Aburi and Spicy Tuna Aburi Bowl
Pork and Squid Takoyaki Aburi Bowl
Two variants are available, and there's something for whatever you're craving. If you seek the fresh, light flavors of seafood, have the Salmon Aburi and Spicy Tuna, though this vibrant bowl of fresh-cut tuna, torched salmon chunks, aioli, ceviche dressing, green apple bits, toasted nori, and fried leeks packs a spicy kick from togarashi. The Pork and Squid Takoyaki Aburi Bowl, on the other hand, reimagines the classic Japanese street food into a rice bowl that amazingly captures its familiar savory flavors with sushi rice, seared squid, braised pork, cabbage, corn, sesame seeds, scallions, aioli, togarashi, and bonito flakes. Each bowl is more than generous in size and flavor, and if you decide to have one every day until September, we'd be the last ones to judge.
