Wildflour's New Honey Cake Is Just as Good as Your Usual
Order this when your favorite buko pie or carrot cake sells out!
Just when you thought Wildflour Café + Bakery couldn't get any better, they add a new dessert to their menu: The Honey Cake (P250/slice, P2,500/whole). If you're looking for a treat that's not too sweet, then honey, this is for you!
This decadent cake is evenly frosted with dulce de leche cream all over the sides and in between the layers, making it super moist. There are toasted crumbly cake bits spread all over, and a generous amount of crunchy walnuts sprinkled on top to give a bit of texture to each bite. To make it extra special, pair it up with a warm cup of latte.
Only true Wildflour fans and regulars know that the restaurant is also home to one of the best buko pies in town, so much that it's earned cult-favorite status. Unlike the buko pies you can get at roadside pasalubong stores, this version tames down on the sugar, resulting in a perfect balance of sweet and savory thanks to the homemade buttery crust. Next time you find yourself at Wildflour, you know exactly what to get.
