You Can Now Have Lechon at Power Plant Mall's The Grid
Just when you thought lechon couldn't get any better!
Follow the long lines in any Filipino gathering and you'd most likely discover that it's to get a share of perfectly roasted lechon. Similarly, when you arrive at the latest food hall in town, The Grid in Rockwell, many people line up for the customized lechon plates at Le Chon. Their sinfully delicious lechon dishes are a modern take on the classic Pinoy dish, cooked using French techniques (hence the French play on the word "lechon").
In just five easy steps, you can create your dream lechon platter.
First thing's first, you have to pick your choice of lechon: Choose from the Lechon Porchetta (P350), Lechon Angus Beef Belly (P495), Lechon Manok (P299), or their new Lechon Tuna Steak (P370). To add a bit of punch to your lechon, you can likewise choose from their selection of rubs. You can opt for flavors like Original, Tanglad Butter, Sugar Cane Gata, or Truffle at Bawang.
Side dishes include kamote fries, banana-cue chips, or grilled talong with baba ganoush, a Lebanese dish with mashed eggplant, tahini, and olive oil. We recommend the grilled talong for its aromatic and smoky flavors that pair perfectly with the creamy and slightly sweet baba ganoush.
And even though this succulent pig is flavorful as it is, a lechon meal is never complete without a huge bowl of rice and lechon sauce. Choose between Le Chon's Original Butter Rice and the Sexy Brown Rice. A serving of their lechon sauce is provided with the meal but you can pair it with the Labuyo Lime Sauce or Adobo White Sauce, too.
There are so many lechon-platter possibilities, and this is just the reason to keep coming back at Le Chon for another plate. And after your first crunchy and juicy bite of their lechon, the inevitable long lines will no longer be difficult to bear.
Le Chon is at The Grid, R2 Level Expansion, Power Plant Mall, Makati.
