Soon, You Can Get Your Next Chilled-Taho Fix at Serenitea
Plus, more brown-sugar drinks!
(SPOT.ph) Almost every Filipino grew up with taho. You probably woke up to Manong Taho's call early in the morning, and had the warm and hearty treat for breakfast or as a snack. But what if we told you that you can now get your fix at the most unlikely place? Serenitea is launching their own version with the Brown Sugar Taho (P150), a tall glass of chilled taho topped with brown-sugar ice and lots of chewy pearls.
The new drink-snack hybrid is part of the milk-tea chain's Brown Sugar Series. Aside from taho, Serenitea also riffs off another classic snack, this time from Taiwan, with the Brown Sugar Grass Jelly (P150) inspired by the classic Taiwanese dessert with milk tea mixed with grass jelly, brown-sugar ice, and cream.
Serenitea has also partnered with Holly's Milk to create two of the luscious new drinks. There's the Brown Sugar Milk (P180/Metro-Manila branches, P150/outside Metro Manila), tea with an extra helping of fresh milk and brown-sugar pearls, and the Brown Sugar Milk Frost (P180/Metro-Manila branches, P150/outside Metro Manila), which comes topped with Serenitea's signature Cheese Frost and sprinkled with muscovado sugar.
Serenitea's Brown Sugar Series will launch on September 15.
