(SPOT.ph) Though admittedly eclipsed by the more popular Summer Palace and HEAT, EDSA Shangri-La's Paparazzi had a quiet charm of its own. Who can resist their exquisite Italian courses? But, after 26 years—they opened together with EDSA Shangri-La back in 1992—the understated yet elegant Italian restaurant is closing its doors on October 18.

According to EDSA Shangri-La's Director for Communications, Cristina del Carmen, Paparazzi's closure is in line with the hotel's efforts to revamp their current restaurant lineup. While we agree that change can be a good thing, it is also with a heavy heart that we bid goodbye to their excellent pasta and risotto selections.

"We hope that our guests remember Paparazzi to be a place where they were able to create beautiful memories over a sumptuous, homemade Italian meal in the course of the last 26 years," shares del Carmen in an email interview with SPOT.ph. "And that these memories were made even more special by our brand of heartfelt hospitality from a caring family." Here's your sign to create some more memories before they close.
Paparazzi is at Mezzanine Level, Tower Wing, EDSA Shangri-La, 1 Garden Way, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City.
