(SPOT.ph) You won't find it in the more populated areas of Poblacion, but Loco Manuk is worth the search. For one, you're sure to want to snap away at their hip and colorful interiors—with vibrant posters, knickknacks, and wall art, you almost won't know where to look first.
But it's not all aesthetics with this restaurant: they also serve an excellent Wood Roast Chicken you'll go crazy for. Chef Danny Parreno uses kaimito and mahogany to imbibe the chicken with fruity and smoky notes, which permeates from skin to bone.Â
It's not all chicken, either. Loco Manuk serves up Asian-Peruvian inspired dishes like BBQ Spareribs, Szechuan Caramel & Fried Garlic with amazingly buttery-soft pork that contrasts perfectly with the crunchy spicy-sweet caramel crust. You're sure to get addicted.
