Start the Day Right With These Cheesy Crepes at The Grid

They've got sweet crepes, too!

(SPOT.ph) Power Plant Mall's resident food hall, The Grid, is known as a popular lunch destination for Rockwell regulars, but The Workshop at The Grid might have something that could get you to drop by for breakfast, too: A new line of sweet and savory crepes.

Of course, crepes aren't just meant for breakfast, but The Workshop's line of delicately decadent sweet crepes seem like the perfect way to start the day. All their crepes are made fresh with whole-wheat flour, so you can indulge with a little less guilt. There's the simple yet satisfying classic Butter Sugar Crepe (P190), which comes with a slice of lemon to brighten up the flavors—for a slight upgrade, have the Mango Butter Sugar Crepe (P190), which comes topped with ripe mango slices. Chocoholics can go for the Dark Chocolate Strawberry Crepe (P310), topped with fresh, juicy strawberries; or the Banana Nutella Brulee Crepe (P200), with toasted, caramelized banana slices adding an extra nutty sweetness.

In the mood for something savory? The Workshop won't disappoint with their line of savory crepes, which all comes stuffed with a gooey blend of four cheeses: Cheddar, mozzarella, Monterey Jack, and emmental. There's the Mushroom Crepe (P210), chockful of umami with Shiitake and button mushrooms. The Salmon Crepe (P300) tastes a tad bit more luxurious with smoked salmon, sour cream, and sunny-side-up egg. Though for a sumptuous breakfast, nothing beats the Sausage Crepe (P260), which comes stuffed with smoky Hungarian sausage and a fried egg. Pair your crepe with coffee from EDSA BDG, also at The Grid, and you're good to go.

The Workshop is at The Grid, R2 Level Expansion, Power Plant Mall, Makati City.
