(SPOT.ph) For a lot of us, food delivery is a lifesaver. While we love to go out and discover new places to eat, there are days when we just can't be bothered to leave the house. So, when extra-hungry folks weren't able to place orders on popular food and grocery delivery app Honestbee over the weekend, people took notice.

While Honestbee first announced on their official Facebook page that they would be taking a break during Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, many noticed that they still couldn't place orders until today, April 22. Honestbee has since posted an update on their Facebook page, confirming that their operations are temporarily unavailable.
In a chat with an Honestbee Philippines representative, it's been confirmed to SPOT.ph that Honestbee in the Philippines is currently "on pause."

"Our operations in the Philippines will be temporarily unavailable while our [headquarters] work towards bringing the total business to a healthy and sustainable level," shares the representative. "We thank all our customers, partners, riders, and shopper bees for their support."
When asked about when Honestbee would be back, they declined to give an exact date: "We're hoping soon, but no date at this time." Crossing our fingers Honestbee comes back real soon!
this strange new world.
