From Curry to Grilled Cheese, This "Cafeteria" Has Lunch That's Better Than Yours
It's The Moment Group's mess hall, after all!
(SPOT.ph) With concepts like 8 Cuts, Manam, and Ooma under their belt, it's pretty obvious that when it comes to food, restaurant group The Moment Group knows what they're doing. And it's really no surprise that their own office cafeteria, The Mess Hall at the Moplex, has built a reputation for whipping up tasty, hearty meals miles away from your usual office-pantry fare.
This September, The Mess Hall has expanded their menu: Not only do they now offer signature dishes from their restaurants like 8 Cuts' Burger Bomb (P260) and Shawa Wama's Primo Beef (P345), they're also introducing exclusives that might just convince you to brave the traffic going to Makati.

A surefire crowd-pleaser is the Sizzling Fried Chicken Quarter (P265), which comes with a crispy quarter fried chicken, seasoned to be savory with a slight tang up to the bone, plus garlic rice, a side of beans, and addictive butter-fried garlic chips. A lighter option is the Whole Butterflied Pla-Pla Strips (P310), with the tender fish flavorful enough even without any dip.Â

The Mess Hall is also introducing two hearty Japanese-curry plates that will soon be a part of Ooma's menu: Ooma's Gyu Katsudon (P345), with crispy, succulent katsu covered in a rich, subtly spicy curry sauce, and Ooma's Cheese Katsudon (P345), with katsu stuffed with gooey mozzarella cheese.

All these already has us drooling but The Mess Hall has more in store: Starting September 23, the menu will include pasta and sandwiches, includinga Grilled Cheese and a Banana-Nutella Sandwich.
The Mess Hall is at The Moplex, 2316 Karrivin Plaza, Pasong Tamo Extension, Makati City.
