(SPOT.ph) While we love a good glass of vino, admittedly, the intricacies of wine tasting and pairing can go over our heads. So when Dr. Wine provided an opportunity for us to learn all about the topic, we couldn't say no. After all, the French-inspired wine bar and bistro is the perfect place to indulge in a glass (or four). Their resident sommelier, Charles Seguin, was there to guide us, so there was really no reason to be intimidated by the art of wine pairing.
For the workshop, we sampled The Doctor's Platter with French-inspired charcuterie and cheeses served with artisan bread. We paired them with four different kinds of French wines: Joseph Drouhin Pinot Noir, Chateau Cap de Fer, Camille de Labrie Chardonnay, and Bestheim Pinot Gris.
