(SPOT.ph) There’s a lot to love about Japan—that much is clear, whether or not you’ve been there—but the food truly reflects what the people value. First, whatever the Japanese create must serve its purpose well. Secondly, it’s gotta be as cute as you can make it. Even the deceptively simple meal of tamago kake gohan (egg over rice) is aesthetically pleasing. What more when it comes to dessert?
Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory understands these concepts well, which explains their Green Tea Milk Cheese Cake, as well as their Cow Cow Ice stalls. But now that they’re setting up shop (café, rather) over at Ayala Malls Manila Bay, nothing’s stopping them from adding to their repertoire. Can you say, “fluffy Japanese pancakes?” Gasp.
While there's no official word about whether these bundles of jiggling joy will be available in all branches, we do know that they’ll be out and about this November, so keep an eye out!
