(SPOT.ph) As an Asian carb-loving nation, it’s hard to believe our go-to dish doesn’t involve noodles that aren’t Italian pasta—but we’re looking forward to the day that that changes. Max’s is stepping in the right direction with their new Crispy Pancit Canton—which sounds like it’ll go perfectly with their signature fried chicken. At P199, it’s hard to say no to.
The egg noodles are deep fried, and served with chicken and squid rings for a good range of textures to go with the sauce that just borders on rich. It may be a dish to mark the restaurant’s 75th anniversary, but it’ll be a mainstay from here on out.
