(SPOT.ph) Valentine’s season is one of those times people generally associate with sweets—you’d usually give away chocolates, cookies, and other confections around this time of year. But we get you; all that sugar can start to get nauseating after a while. For fans of the savory stuff, Sushi Nori’s got your back with their Pink Sushi Cake (P1,299). It’s got seven salmon roses, oboro, tamago, and more salmon mixed with teriyaki sauce for a savory-sweet profile you’ll want to share with your special other. The only catch? It's only available until the end of February.
Sushi Nori began as a food stall in various malls in the city before eventually opening their first stall in 2016 and their first sit-down sushi shop in 2017. Through the years, they’ve been hailed for serving casual sushi rolls and sushi “cakes” that have put the often-intimidating Japanese classic in a more accessible light.
