You Can Now Get a Korean Barbecue Chicken Meal for Just P55
So long, Kentucky; annyeong, Korea!
(SPOT.ph) Looks like we're not quite getting off of the Korean barbecue train, folks. Apart from KBBQ joints opening up left and right, the chains are getting in on the action, too. And KFC will not be left behind—enter their Korean Barbecue Flavor Shots. For only P55, you get their crispy-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-inside bites of chicken with a sweet sesame glaze that wouldn't be out of place in a decent KBBQ joint; the rice and drink make it a full meal.
KFC's bite-sized version of their chicken started with the Hot Shots in the early 2010s, moving on to different iterations of the Flavor Shots as the years went by. Fans have lined up for the Mushroom Gravy, Teriyaki, and Sisig Flavor Shots—there was even a Shawarma Rice Bowl at one point—there's no doubt they'll be down to get this new one as well. The only thing we'd look for is a side of kimchi!
KFC has branches at G/F Robinsons Forum, Pioneer Street, Mandaluyong City and 2F Glorietta 1, Office Drive, Makati City. See a list of KFC branches. For more information, log on to KFC Philippines' Facebook page.
