Here's How You Can Get Tempura Delivered

This'll satisfy those Japanese food hankerings.

( With all that’s been happening lately, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and out of control. Our advice: breathe, and take it one day at a time. For today, treat yourself to some crisp-on-the-outside, juicy-on-the-inside tempura. You can get your fill at Tenya Tempura Tendon, as their Magallanes, BGC Stopover, Tiendesitas, and Festival Mall branches are open for take-out and delivery via Foodpanda, LalaFood, and GrabFood.

Their ebi tempura is one of our faves in the Metro.

Their black tiger prawn tempura is one of our favorite versions of the dish in the city, and you can get it as part of a number of different combos. You can’t go wrong with their Classic Tendon (P292), which has tempura-fried black tiger prawn, squid, kisu, green beans, and sweet potato. The Asakusa Special Tempura Basket (P369), on the other hand, has three pieces of the black tiger prawn tempura, green beans, and kakiage. If you’re up for a more decadent bite, go for the Buta Kimuchi Tendon (P314), which has pork belly slices and kimchi. Not a tempura fan? They also carry a selection of other Japanese classics, including the Spicy Salmon Maki (P358) with spicy salmon, tobiko, agedama, shichimi, and Japanese mayonnaise, and the Chicken Teriyaki Jyu (P391), which has chicken fillets and teriyaki sauce over Japanese rice.

Tenya Tempura Tendon is a Japanese franchise specializing in its namesake deep-fried Japanese dish. Though they date back all the way to 1989, they came to our shores in 2015 and have been serving consistently tasty Japanese eats ever since.

Tenya Tempura Tendon is at G/F South Park Plaza, Paseo De Magallanes, Pres. Sergio Osmeña Highway, Magallanes, Makati City; 2/F BGC Stopover Pavilion, Rizal Drive corner 31st Street, Bonifacio Global City; Tiendesitas, Frontera Verde, Ortigas Avenue Corner C5, Ugong, Pasig City; and G/F Water Garden, Festival Mall, Filinvest City, Muntinlupa City. For orders, find Tenya Tempura Tendon on Foodpanda, LalaFood, and GrabFood. For more information, check out Tenya Philippines’ Facebook page.
