(SPOT.ph) If there’s anything we can learn from Hawker Chan, it’s that food need not be expensive to be wildly delicious. Fans of the restaurant are in for a treat, because they've reopened their Glorietta store for pick-up and delivery from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. They accept payments made via bank transfer, AliPay, GCash, or via a payment link they’ll send when you place your order, and you can get your food delivered via Grab, Lalamove, Joyride, or Angkas.

Their famous Soya Sauce Chicken delivers big on flavor at an affordable price. Choose from the Soya Sauce Chicken Rice (P128) or Soya Sauce Chicken Noodle (P158)—they both boast succulent chicken that’s teeming with soy sauce goodness. Don't sleep on the Beef Brisket Rice (P158) or Beef Brisket Noodle (P188), either—it's as tender and comforting as can be.

They offer larger portions too, such as the crispy-on-the-outside, juicy-on-the-inside Char Siew (P500/400 grams, P1,000/800 grams). If you’re sharing with the family, consider getting one of their roast combinations, like the Roast Pork & Char Siew Combination Platter (P208) or the Roast Combination with Dumplings (P1,740, good for 10-12 people).
Hawker Chan is a Singaporean restaurant owned by Chan Hon Meng that began as a humble restaurant at the Chinatown Complex Food Centre, yet famously earned a Michelin star in 2016. They came to the Philippines in 2018 and quickly won Filipinos over with their tasty fare that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.
