Here's How You Can Enjoy McDo's Chicken Nuggets Fresh From the Fryer
Nothing beats a crispy, hot nugget, after all.
(SPOT.ph) Though it’s great that the enhanced community quarantine has bought us more time to cook, there are times when we just can’t be bothered to do all the work but still want a satisfying meal. Enter McDonalds' Cook-It-Yourself Packs, which are now available for purchase either at selected McDonald’s stores via drive-thru or takeout —or at selected supermarkets in the Metro.
For a crispy, savory meal, go for the Breaded Chicken Fillets (P315/15 pieces), which are what McDonald’s use for their McCrispy Chicken Fillet with Rice and Crispy Chicken Sandwich. These are available at selected McDonald’s stores via as well as a number of SM Supermarket branches in the Metro.
Looking for their famous nuggets or prefer flavor-infused meat? You can get their Marinated Chicken Cuts, Spicy Marinated Chicken Cuts, and Chicken McNuggets at participating branches of SM Supermarket, SM Hypermarket, Savemore Market, and Walter Mart Supermarket. Note that note that the chicken nuggets do not come with sauce.
Apart from recreating McDonald’s dishes, you can also cut them into pieces and stir-fry them with vegetables. Alternatively, you can assemble an easy chicken salad sandwich by slice or shred the cooked chicken or chicken nuggets and mix in mayonnaise, chopped onions, and chopped celery, then serving it in between slices of bread.
McDonald’s has been known for their famous burgers since the '40s, when brothers Maurice and Richard McDonald turned their drive-thru barbecue restaurant into a burger joint. They opened their first Philippine store in Morayta, Manila in 1981, and have even introduced Philippine-exclusive items, like their Chicken McDo with Spaghetti.
