This Lasagna Is a Must-Try for Lovers of Crispy Edges

( There’s a lot to love about lasagna—from the cheesy bechamel, to the way the lasagna sheets absorb the flavors of the sauce as it cooks. But any true connoisseur would know that the best part are the edges of the pan—where the pasta sheets get slightly crispy and the cheese, slightly toasty and caramelized. If you love it as much as we do, you’ll want to try a mano’s Lasagna Verde (P2,660/good for four to six) with layers of spinach pasta sheets, ragu, bechamel, and parmigiano-reggiano. Aside from being generous on the meat and cheese, the pasta is layered in such a way that their outer margins of the pasta are folded against the pan, maximizing its surface area—and making for especially crisp, slightly charred edges that are the perfect counterpoint to its ooey, gooey center.
